My role on your elopement day is to prioritize your precious moments. We will have plenty of time before your day to create a vision, document all of the moments you want captured, find all of the best hidden spots to tuck away to, and create a timeline that is stress-free so that you don’t have to overthink when the day comes - things will just flow naturally.
You can rest easy knowing that I will have a steady hand guiding you along the timeline creation, location scouting, permit research, and even helping you have the conversation with friends and family that won’t be in attendance. I don’t anticipate us hiking 5+ miles while you are wearing a wedding dress – while that would make for an epic adventure, I also want you to be able to feel rested, relaxed and ready for the minutes that matter most. You don’t need to be an avid hiker to elope. I pride myself on working tirelessly to find easy access locations that are unique to each couple. Our whole day will be one big adventure, so it is my personal task to find locations that allow you to get the most out of the beautiful creation around us while keeping up a strong endurance and stamina for all people involved!

For a few of my elopement packages, I offer a complimentary engagement session. This session is essentially a major THANK YOU for booking with me. Due to it being complimentary, the price of the package does not change whether you opt for the engagement session or not. However, I am totally open to discussing using your engagement session as a post-elopement bridal session, honeymoon session or adventure session if you want the exploration to continue - all subject to travel fees.

I am based in Minnesota but I am not bound here! There are no travel or accommodation fees for elopements within Minnesota and Wisconsin as they are included in my base price for all of my packages. Beyond Minnesota and Wisconsin travel fees are based on the region of the country and will be something we discuss in our 1:1 meeting. There are no hidden fees, so everything you will be paying will be presented up front before you book with me!

Your wedding gallery will be delivered in a high-quality digital gallery. You can download one, ten, two-hundred, or all of your photos at once. From there, you will be able to print, post, and share your special moments to your heart’s content.

I typically shoot around 70-85 photos per hour of coverage. However, my priority isn’t on a specific number, it is on capturing every moment both big and small. There are no limits to what I will do to document your elopement day. Nothing will be missed.

While I take my health very seriously and take every possible measure to ensure that I am feeling 110% on your elopement day, life happens. I’m a rain-or-shine kind of girl. My health is a consistent priority before, during, and after your wedding day in order to give you the best possible experience from start to finish. I show up no matter what. However, let’s just explore the worst-case-scenario because it’s always good to have a game-plan. If I am unable to perform for any reason, I have an arsenal of talented photographers that share my vision, my style, and my passion for serving you. I have already thought through every possible scenario and I am already prepared for whatever comes our way.

HECK YES. Timeline creation for an elopement day is crucial. I help you create the perfect timeline for your day because no two elopements are ever going to look the same. From getting ready, to first looks, to hiking to your location, to taking time to run around in the woods with your new forever love, every step of the way will be intentionally planned by me so that you can relax your shoulders, take deep breaths from your diaphragm again, and focus solely on the intimacy and simplicity that you are chasing.

Personally, I don’t think we need to hike miles upon miles to get to the best spots. I do extensive research ahead of time to find easy to access locations that are still private and unique. I don’t anticipate hikes going over 2 miles typically, however, I will always chat with each couple prior to a final location selection so that we can understand each others’ fitness level and expectations.
